Joan Duffy Award Available for Iowa Students
Applications are available now for the Joan Duffy Travel Award for Iowa Chapter!
We apologize for the tight turnaround, but the Iowa Chapter will be giving one Joan Duffy Travel Award to a student to attend the 2023 Midwest Fish and Wildlife Conference!
This award is $400 total, with half of it matched by the North Central Division of the American Fisheries Society. That's $400 toward your meeting registration, room, whatever you need to make attendance at the Midwest Conference possible. The award is named for Ms. Joan Duffy, a member of the Michigan Chapter. She played a key role in organizing the 1995 Midwest Conference and 1996 AFS meeting, and she was a strong advocate for student attendance as a matter of professional development.
