Welcome to the Iowa Chapter AFS Website! The Iowa Chapter was established in September 1969 by dedicated fisheries professionals.  The Iowa Chapter is a scientific and professional organization dedicated to the management of aquatic resources.  The objectives of the chapter are to encourage the exchange of information by members of the Society residing in, working in, or having a professional interest in the State of Iowa.

Active membership in the Iowa Chapter of the American Fisheries Society will provide many opportunities to advance your growth as a fisheries professional and allow you a greater voice in shaping the future of Iowa fisheries.
